The Elephant in the Room

The Elephant in the Room

Interesting article about sexual ethics, politically driven agendas involving children, and the objective wrong in promoting a wayward homosexual lifestyle.
Building strong families in God is the only antidote.

Study Links Substance Abuse and Abortion

Study Links Substance Abuse and Abortion

Better not tell the pro-choice people...I'm not sure they're ready to hear this anyway.
After awhile the associative links are so strong, even the causality becomes something of a moot issue.

Gratitude & Grace

a thoughtful feature article on grace and gratitude

The difference between entitlement and rights? Appreciation of the gift...so simple. Benedict mentions it directly; a great antidote for anomie and postmodern dissatisfaction.

Gloria.tv: Obama - I don't want my daughters "punished with a baby"

Gloria.tv: Obama - I don't want my daughters "punished with a baby"

This short clip with Obama about says it all. Probably playing to the crowd during an election stump last year.

Like many others, I have concerns that this near unconscious view among "pro-choicers" - finally articulated by Obama here - that some lives are not worth
living, or that they can be snuffed when inconvenient- must certainly impact other areas of moral decision-making.

How exactly? Does it, as they might claim, only impact poor mothers? How can we measure the full impact of moral
degradation of the devaluation of life? If we can measure, say, the economic impact of a mill closure or the pollution
of a stream, why not the dollar value of an immoral decision or "choice"?
