The Uniqueness of Christianity by Peter Kreeft

The Uniqueness of Christianity by Peter Kreeft

Got to love this guy.  Puts so many fuzzy thinkers to bed without even trying.

This is what a background in theology and well as philosophy will do to you.

The Truth about Islamic Crusades and Imperialism

The Truth about Islamic Crusades and Imperialism

Love this post and the timeline.

The Real History of the Crusades.

Nice to hear a balanced piece that places the Crusades in historic context.  Most 19th century revisionist versions, popular today, posit Arab states as 'passive' recipients of religious hysteria, while ignoring their aggressive Muslim proselytization and persecutions of Christians and non-believers that went on for centuries prior to the Crusades.

Excellent article from the chief rabbi of France.  Homosexual unions damage society in 3 ways:

1. The risk of irreversibly scrambling genealogies
2. Queer theory turns children into "rights" of a union.  The child is not an object of rights but a subject of rights.
3.  Promotion of a confusion that would be harmful to society as a whole and that would lose sight of the general interest in seeking the advantage of a tiny minority.
